As you approach the Hosteria you will see a picturesque landscape filled with cattle properties, snow covered mountains and as well as a variety of indigenous people.

HOW TO GET TO THE HOSTERIA SAN MATEO

You can arrive easily by car, by bus or by train.

• By public bus: Take a bus that goes to Latacunga. It should cost you $2-$5 per person.
• By private bus: Let u|s know in advance when you are comming, and we will arrange for a "private bus" to pick you up. Many hotels from the area get together to provide this service to their clients.
• You will be picked up early in the morning.
  And reservations need to be done in advance since availability is limited.
  The ride will cost around $20 per person.
• By private car/choffer/guide: Let us know in advance when you are comming, and we will arrange for a car to pick you up. The guide is billingual and you can tell them at what time would you like to leave. If on the way to the Hosteria, you decide to stop and look around and take pictures... you can do it with no problem.
  The guide will let you know all about the area while you travel....
  The cost will depend on the number of people to transfer and the choffer available. (Many choffers have different rates)

• By train:The Train can be used only: Tuesdays, Thursdays,Saturdays, and Sundays comming from Quito. There is space for 34 people. (reservation need to be done with time).
